Happy Birthday Aunt Jaimee

My girls love Aunt Jaimee, they don't get to see her very often, but when they do they are all smiles :) Kynzee asked me Saturday if Jaimee was coming to her party (because she did last year) and I said I don't know we will have to see. So she was so excited that she ended up coming. Today is Jaimee's birthday just wanted to wish her a very Happy Birthday!!!

Josh's brother Jake and his wife Katie had a new baby girl on Friday and she is a doll!!! Look at this sweet baby girl she is enough to just kiss on and squeeze all day :) Her name is Lydia Alice, I am soooo jealous!

2nd Chance Prom

Josh's Dad made a deal with me a couple weeks ago that if he came to Kynzee's birthday party I had to go to the dance with them. I am not a dancer and neither is Josh so I really did not want to go, well....he showed up at the party and insisted that I go. So I got ready and off we went. Thanks to my sweet cousin Monika for helping me out and watching the girls I couldn't have done it without her. We ended up having a lot of fun together and it was fun to just talk and laugh and enjoy each other for a few hours. I was glad we went.

Fun Birthday Parties for Kynzee

Well I decided to step out of my box this year and take on a new kind of party. We always have a birthday party with our families and they are so big that it ends up being a huge party. My girls have been invited to friend birthday parties and they always have so much fun. So this year I decided to do both!!! I decided to let Kynzee pick who she wanted to come to her princess party and so she did! It was so much fun the kids had a blast, I think every little girl should be able to have a princess party at least once in their childhood, it was so worth it. Josh built Kynzee a barbie house and I put colorful carpet it in for her and she is in love, she spends hours at this barbie house pretending all kinds of fun things. So she got all kinds of fun furniture from her party to use in the barbie house, I think her house is now well furnished :)

Kynzee Kate turned 4

My little blue eyed baby girl turned 4 years old! It is amazing how on their birthdays it really takes you back to the day they were born, a day you will never forget, a wonderful magical day filled with so much love. When Kynzee was born I literally thought Heavenly father had sent me an angel, I still do. Maddy was only ten months old when I found out I was pregnant with Kynzee, and I was so scared. When the time came closer to having Kynzee our lives changed and we went through a really hard time, I needed a good delivery at that time in my life and I needed something good to happen in our family, I had prayed very hard. I had a c-section with Maddy so I was trying for a VBAC with Kynzee, I was afraid, so afraid that things would not go right. My water broke two weeks early and she arrived on April 26th after being in labor for 5 hours. I only had to push a couple times and she was here, it was great, and she was so adorable I fell in love instantly. Kynzee was the best baby ever, she hardly ever cried and she brought that new light and hope in our lives at a time when we needed it so much. I will be forever thankful for Kynzee and the angel that she was and still is, that I know Heavenly father sent to us for a reason. She brings so much happiness into our home and she is loved by so many. When I went back to find some old pictures of Kynzee I had a hard time finding any without Maddy with her because they have been inseperable since the day she was born, Maddy and Kynzee are best friends! We had so much fun celebrating Kynzee's birthday, (I will post pictures of her party later) it was special just like the day she was born. We love you Kynzee!!

Headstand for Kenna

I came into the room to check on Kenna after she had been on the 4th hour of her nap and this is what I found!!! She had taken everything out of her crib and it was on the floor and she was looking at me upside down and laughing saying "Mommy...Mommy" I started laughing and told her to wait right there so I could get my camera and take a picture and she said "okay" and sure enough she was still there when I got back, she is just too funny sometimes.

A little bit of everything going on!!

I have lots to catch up on, and things are only getting busier around my house so I figured I better catch up now while I have a chance.

I finally got Kenna's hair long enough to do a french braid and I was so excited I had to take a picture. It is not the best looking braid, but give me some credit because she is a busy two year old who doesn't sit still so I was doing this braid on the go :)

The weather has been so nice lately and I have just loved it!!! But the other day while it was raining and on the verge of snowing my girls wanted to go outside and play in the rain. I put their rain coats and boots on and let them go, but they didn't last long because it was so cold outside. It is amazing to me how our weather goes from one extreme to the next so quickly.

Wow we had a busy weekend!!! Josh rode in a motorbike race and I packed up the girls and went to watch. My brother was racing as well so some of my family was going to be there and I thought it would be fun to hang out with everyone. So I packed a lunch and prepared for a long day and boy it was a long day. This race ended up being 3 hours long!!! So we were there for about 6 hours by the time every thing was over, I am glad it was a beautiful day so we weren't freezing!! The race was so fun to watch and the girls had a blast. Josh was so tired at the end but he did really good, I was so proud of him because I think I would have given up less than half way through :) We have many more races to come this summer so it will be fun to watch him.

What a fun fun day we had and I am excited for more to come with a busy summer!!! I love summer time and I am looking forward to it. It seems like last summer was such a hard time for me and I have been looking forward to another summer since last year!!!
