"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Kenna’s last game

Kenna had the same t-ball coach as Maddy and Kynzee because he has a younger daughter Kenna’s age and he was coaching her team. He was amazing with these tiny girls. It took a lot of patience to ask them over and over to stop sitting or digging in the dirt.  Kenna loved her “teacher” so much that after a game she would sit and talk to me about everything he did that was so funny to her.  One day she asked me if I had ever met a gorilla...I said no. She said "I have Mommy, my coach is a gorilla because he is brooooooooown!!!!" The coach was obviously very tan from all the sun he had gotten from standing at t-ball games :) Kenna is a ball of fire and you never know what is going to come out of her mouth. I am glad that the coach liked her and her personality!! On one of the really hot days the coach poured water on Kenna and another little girl to cool them off and just to joke around with them and Kenna gave him a look to die for. She normally would have gone after him right then and tried to dump water right back on him but instead she sat there with this mean nasty look on her face. Then she got an idea and decided after the game she would get him back and she did! Kenna has a hard time standing still when there is no action going on so when she had to be outfield and there was no ball coming she would get distracted very easily!!! There was one game where she put out her arms and pretended to be an airplane as she ran into home!!! Kenna had so much fun playing t-ball and I loved watching her, it was really good entertainment at times.

The coach says “down and ready girls” and they all go down, I love it!

Maddy and Kynzee’s last game

Maddy and Kynzee have been on this cute all girls t-ball team called “Cute but deadly” they have had a blast!!! They have the most amazing coach that has taught them so much. This is the same team and same coach that they were on last year and they have improved a ton, I am so proud of them. Maddy hit two home runs this year and many times hit far enough she could run all the way to third. Kynzee learned how to hit the ball and not the tee and she can really hit that ball hard. Kynzee is an easy going kind of a girl and she is like that with everything so we had to work really hard with her to get her moving a little faster and she did wonderful. I loved watching their games, it was pretty intense at times :) They are so lucky to have such a good coach that is so patient and kind to them all.

T-ball games

We have spent the whole month of June, Monday through Thursday watching t-ball games. I have to say I really enjoy watching ball games, but Jaxon doesn’t enjoy it as much :) My Mom, Dad, grandma, sister or Josh would come watch the games with me every now and then and that made it fun for Jaxon. I guess I would just get too into the games and Jaxon didn’t like my attention on something else besides him.

Kenna practicing before the game. If you look really close you can see a bunch of white things flying in the air. That is cotton from the trees and the wind blew so hard, it was horrible and everyone’s allergies are now set off !

These four girls had a lot of fun together when their sisters had games!

Baby Kolby

My sister had her baby!!!! 8 lbs 21 inches, he is so cute. I am so happy for Katie and Rodger, they will make great parents. Having a new baby in the home is perfect and life can’t get any better than that. I love this sweet baby boy.
