Josh’s Elk Head

I debated on leaving this off of my blog. It was the next picture in line to post and I thought no it has nothing to do with our lives, it is a dead animal. But Josh was so excited about this head mount from his elk that I had to post it. He took this picture when it was at the taxidermist house when he went to go pick it up. He came home so excited and could hardly wait to put it in the house. I could not stand the thought of it in the house right away so he said he would put it in his shop, he would see it more there anyway.

Happy Birthday Kynzee and Kenna

We had a small last minute get together with my family for Kynzee and Kenna’s birthdays. My family had all said they had gifts for the girls and wanted to know when they could bring them over and I was not planning on having a party so I decided to hurry and make some cakes and let them all come over. The kids enjoyed seeing their cousins and Grandma and Grandpa and they got a lot of fun things for their birthdays. Katie gave Kynzee this skip it jump rope thing and it was really a lot of fun, everyone gave it a try even Katie. We all had a fun day! Happy birthday to my sweet girls. Kynzee turned 8 and Kenna turned 6.

Kynzee’s Baptism Pictures

I took Kynzee down to the temple to take her baptism pictures. This was such a special day for her to wear her pretty white dress and go see the temple. It looked like such a beautiful day but it was a windy cold day, we had a hard time getting pictures without Kynzee’s hair blowing in her face. We were at the temple for about an hour and managed to get some beautiful pictures of my sweet little 8 year old daughter. She looked so pretty in her white dress. Kynzee was so excited for her baptism day and taking these pictures made her even more excited. I love that I can take pictures of my kids and spend special moments like this with them. Seeing my little girls in their baptism dresses or brides getting married or babies getting blessed in beautiful white dresses makes me think of one of my favorite songs. I hope my girls always remember how special their white dresses are.
