"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Mother's Day

I am so lucky to have a Mom and a sister. If it weren't for them I would probably never get remembered on my favorite holidays. I know someday when my girls are older they will remember me and they will show me how much they love me, until then my sweet sister and my Mom take pretty good care of me. Sometimes I think my husband is on a different planet :) I only have one sister and she is so great she gave me a really special card and it meant so much to me. Katie always looks out for me and is one of my best friends. Thank You Katie!

I couldn't get a very good picture but the front of the card says "Bet your kids feel pretty lucky having you for a mom..." My sister tells me that all the time. She is so nice! My Mom gave me this fun book about Mom's and it has recipes in it. She also gave me a really nice card. Thank you Mom I am lucky to have you :)
The kids had fun feeding the horses and Uncle Jesse was so nice to teach them how to put their fingers out straight so their hand would stay flat so they didn't get their fingers eaten! The kids all love Uncle Jesse! We had a very fun Mother's Day.

Look at all those little people! Maddy, Jani, Kynzee, Jaden, and Alyssa they are such good buddies! And we are missing 6 other cousins. It's hard to get a picture with everyone.

Happy Mother's Day!

Thank you to all the wonderful Mother's I have in my life, and Happy Mother's Day!"Me and My Mom"
"My Mother in Law"
"My Grandma Pasley and Grandma Fullmer""Josh's Grandma Williams""Josh's Grammie Fjelstrom""The day I became a Mother""The second time becoming a Mother""The third time becoming a Mother" I absolutely love Mother's Day. I love being a Mommy. The day I became a Mother was the day the journey started. I held my tiny baby in my arms and wondered if I would ever be the Mother that my Heavenly Father wanted me to be. I didn't know how I was going to take care of such a tiny, helpless little baby and someday a teenager. But it was at that moment that life truly began. I have never felt so much joy and love at the same time. I learned how to care for that baby, and I learned how to be the Mother I was taught to be. My Mom has always been so good to me. She taught me how to be the Mommy that I am to my three little girls. They love me everyday, they kiss me and hug me and want to be with me. I treasure every moment I spend with the precious little girls I have been given. There is never a day I wish I wasn't a Mommy. I love it and I cannot get enough of it. With every baby I have my love grows stronger and I have more love to give. A lot of people say they don't want very many children because then they can't give them all the attention and love they need. I feel different about that. I think the more we have in our family the more love I learn to give. I love everyday of it. I feel so lucky to be able to be a Mother, it is the best gift, not job, in the world. I want to tell my Mom how much I love her and how lucky I am to have her in my life. She is so good to me and has taught me all that I know today. Thank You Mom!

Happy Birthday Dad "Pa Pa"

Happy birthday Dad! We had a fun birthday party and the kids had a blast! I have to tell a funny story about my Dad's birthday present. We all went in together on a mini rototiller for him and Josh went to Action Motor Sports to buy it. He then put it in the back of his truck so my Dad would not find it in our garage. So the other day Dad stopped by and took my garbage out for me and just happened to find it in the back of Josh's truck. So he came into the house and said So Josh bought him a rototiller huh? and I played along and said yes we are going to plant a garden this year so he bought one to till the garden. We left it at that. Well...he then called my brother and said Josh bought a rototiller so I am going to go borrow it to till your garden. Well...he showed up at my house today, on his birthday and said I am going to take Josh's new rototiller, I will bring it back. And I had to stop myself from laughing but I said okay Dad. It's not even out of the box are you sure? And he said well I will take it out of the box :) So tonight when he opened up his present my mom had wrapped an empty box and in it said your gift is outside and he looked confused and then we said well we can't find your gift because you took it and borrowed it from someone today and never returned it!!!!!! His face went beat red it was hilarious. He had no idea that was for him. Well at least he got to use his new rototiller on his birthday and he loved it and thought it worked great!!! Happy Birthday Dad we love you!

Happy Birthday Kacey!!

Just wanted to say happy birthday to my friend Kacey. I hope you had a very fun day today boating, fishing and spending time with your family. Thank you for all you do for me. One of Kacey's sayings that has now become one of my favorite is "I am not going to pray that I don't get sick, I am going to pray that my friend doesn't get sick on the same day" Kacey always helps me out so much when I am sick. Thank you! That is definitely for us. Thank you again for everything and happy birthday. Hope you don't mind that I stole your picture off your blog! :) :)
