Happy 30th Birthday to me!!

Wow I cannot believe I am already 30 years old!! I had a wonderful birthday. I went to Maddy’s basketball game in the morning and came home and Josh had fixed a yummy breakfast. I opened special homemade gifts and cards from the girls which I always love. There was a knock at the door and it was the flower man with 30 beautiful roses sent from Josh. I love roses and I was so excited to have 30 of them to smell my house up yummy. Josh and the kids also gave me an ipad and I love it!!!!! They spoiled me!!! My Mom and my sister came over to see me for my birthday and I got some fun things from them and Mom ate dinner with me and Katie brought me a cake. My brother Nick stopped by and brought me a carmel apple from the candy shop and it was to die for..so good. I really had a wonderful day and couldn’t have asked for anything more.

My life right now!!

419367_10150488388765653_553420652_8935631_6519731_n

It’s amazing how fast life can throw you some whirlwinds that turn into tornadoes!! I am struggling with so many things right now. I find myself on my knees begging Heavenly Father for help more times than not. I have always felt bad asking my parents for help or anyone else for that matter. I have always been an independent girl who does it all by myself, kinda like a toddler who wont let Mom help them anymore. So when I have to ask Heavenly Father for help it makes me feel so bad. But most of the time this is the only way for me to feel peace. I wish he could somehow answer some of my prayers with a loud and clear answer because I need it loud and clear. I feel like maybe I have been wrong in some of the answers I thought he sent. I honestly am trying my very best and giving life all I have to give. Somedays I look back and wonder how I made it out alive that day because I pushed myself so hard. I am so blessed to have four wonderful children who are so good to me, they bring me so much joy. I find myself questioning if I am a good enough Mom for them, I want to be the very best I can for them. I am so lucky that they remind me always that they love me!! This picks me up on a day I have fallen and I can get back up and keep going. Heavenly Father knew I needed them in my life. I think when my kids tell me that they love me it reminds me how much my Heavenly Father loves me as well. Life is hard, it has never been easy, but I am learning so much from it. There are good people in my life who are like angels to me and then there are people who I just let fall off of me kinda like the story of the wemicks. I love that story. It is about not letting others hurt you and not letting what they say stick to you, instead you just let it fall off. I know that life can always get worse so I am always grateful for my trials, but at times I feel like it is so heavy on my back that I just want them to go away. I don’t like this time of year as it is, it always gets me down, so I love it when the sun shines through my house, it brightens my spirits. I am thankful for my testimony of the gospel, I am so blessed because of it. I am so thankful that Heavenly Father is always by my side, I am also thankful for a new day to start over and pray for the very best.

“Life”

President Gordon B. Hinckley said "Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."

I love this…I saw it on pinterest and had to put it on my blog to remember it. Life is wonderful, every single day we should be grateful for the ride we have been given and the person we have become because of our ride.

Maddy’s 3rd Basketball Game

Okay so I didn’t do so well on the picture taking department at the game today. I was so into this game I could not even focus on taking a picture. It was intense and my body hurt when I got up to walk out because I was so tensed up through the whole game. A game for an 8 year old should not have to be this way, well it was!! The team they played was so overly aggressive and mean I could not stand it. I could not believe that a coach would teach them to play that way when they are only 8. I have to say Maddy’s team did a wonderful job and they are the best sports about playing ball. Maddy made two baskets and she was so excited!! That bright pink cast just might be good luck for her. I love to watch her play, it is so much fun for me. I can’t wait until next weeks game. These girls have the best coaches ever, they are so lucky!! Does it really have to be about winning? Why can’t it just be about having fun at this age :) I know Maddy is having fun so I am so happy about that!!DSC_8446DSC_8449

Kenna at Dance

So yes it is obvious our life has a lot of dancing in it, what can I say..we have three girls in this house who love to dance. So this is Kenna at a day of practice. I always forget my camera but on this special day I remembered because we were suppose to video the dances so the girls could practice at home. So I did was I was told and brought the camera and took a few pictures as well as the video. I love this ball of fire we call Kenna. She is so sweet yet so mischievous!! She sure loves to dance and she learns very quick and she does a beautiful job.  I love to watch her to se how much she has learned from week to week. I usually do not go to practice because I think it is a nice surprise when you go to the performance and you have never seen the dance before until then. But if Kenna can’t behave in class…Mom has to go and watch:) I love you Kenna Kay!!

Baby at 17 weeks

We had an ultrasound this week to see what the baby is and the ultrasound person gave us a 70-80% it’s a girl!!! They just could not see for sure, the legs were close together and it just was not a good picture. So we will now wait until February 6th for another ultrasound, I will let you know what we find out for sure then. For now we will keep waiting!! I have thought it was a girl all along and Kenna has agreed with me and she has been very very set on it being a girl. Dad and the other girls all say it’s a boy and Jaxon of course doesn’t know what we are even talking about. I have to say if it is a girl I am in big trouble already because there are so many cute girl things out right now!! I have always loved to dress my girls up cute so it would just be another cute one to play dress up with. Here is a not so clear picture of our babies profile, but it’s at least a picture.

Dance Performance at a halftime basketball game

Maddy and Kynzee are dancing for Eagle Rock Dance Team this year and they have really enjoyed it. They have met so many new friends and they have a lot of fun. They get to perform at a lot of extra events like half time performances for basketball games so they get extra practices for the spring competitions start. So they had their first one this week. They did great!! But of course I am the Mom so I always think they do great. They only performed one of their two dances so it was really laid back for them and lots of fun. I thought they looked so cute even with the bright pink cast on!! I love these two they are so sweet and the best of buddies!!DSC_8413DSC_8414

They have worked so hard to be able to do this!! They finally can do it!! The definatly don’t get their flexibility from their Mother!!

Maddy’s 2nd Basketball Game

We thought for sure after Maddy broke her arm that she would be done playing basketball and dancing for a couple months, but she has been lucky to be able to keep up with her busy little life. She has loved basketball so much and she loves that all her friends are on her team together. She has two really good coaches who are so good to the girls. I have always wanted Maddy to enjoy what she is doing, well she absolutely enjoys playing basketball so I am so happy about that. She is a good little player and has a lot of fun. She made her first basket at this game and she was so excited about it!! I don’t know I might have been a little more excited then her, you could tell from my screaming :) She has not let her cast get her discouraged one bit she just keeps going and is so determined.

Buddies

Kenna and Jaxon get to spend a lot of time together, they have become really good buddies. They play all day long and they actually do really well most of the time. Every now and then we have a sharing problem but not too often. And every now and then we have a problem with them getting into things they shouldn’t and they make a big mess. This was the first time I have ever let them take a bath together and we will never do it again, so I had to take some pictures. They made a huge mess with water and they were out of control and would not listen to me. It was just pure craziness in the tub. I am glad they enjoyed their bath together!!  I love these two kiddos!!
