"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

First day of school!

I can't believe school has started again, crazy!! Maddy started Kindergarten and Kynzee started Preschool. I am a little bit shocked by school being every day for Maddy, I am not sure I like her being gone so much. I was just getting use to Preschool three times a week last year and now I have to adjust to everyday. I sure miss them when they are away, I miss their giggles together, their cries, and their cute little smiles. It is so sad to watch them grow up and at the same time their is so much joy in it. I love my sweet little girls and wish I could keep them small forever. Here are some fun pictures I took of them before I sent them off for the day. Kynzee just had a meet the teacher day on Monday, so her real first day was Wednesday and she couldn't wait to go she was so excited. Maddy's first day was Monday and she has been everyday this week, she loves it, I am not so sure about it :( And I can't leave out Kenna this week... of course Kenna had to wiggle her little self into some of the pictures, where they go, she goes, and she hates that she cannot go with them to "cool" (school). O how I love these precious girls!!!

Kynzee and her watermelon

Kynzee loves watermelon, so much that she is often found eating it right our of the huge bowl it came from!!! Love you Kynzee :)

Kenna's riding a bike!

This fun little bike was Maddy's, Kynzee's and now Kenna's!! Kenna has finally learned how to push hard enough with those tiny feet and make the pedals move. She worked so hard at learning how to ride this bike and she is so proud of herself. She asks everyone to watch her and always has a huge smile on her face. She is getting so big and learning all kinds of fun new things. I sure do love miss Kenna Kay!!!

Happy Birthday Aunt Jess!!

I am not very good at taking pictures at every family birthday party, but I happened to have my camera and took some pictures at Jessica's birthday party!!! (I know she will love me for it) We had family pictures earlier in the evening and then went to her house afterwards and had yummy pie and popsicles for the kids. We had a fun night together, thanks for inviting us over. We love ya Jess!!

Swimming Lessons!!

Here are some fun pictures from our two weeks of swimming lessons this year!! The girls did amazing and loved every minute of it. They were so brave going off the diving board and slide I was so proud of them!! It was a great way to end their summer break before heading back to school. They will miss not going swimming every day, they learned so much.

Wow this summer has sure gone by fast!!! We have had a rough August as many of you know. It started off by me tripping and hurting my foot (it took forever to finally get feeling better) Then, poor Kynzee crashed on her motorbike into the gas line on the side of our house and broke her nose in two places. Luckily the Dr. waited for the swelling to go down before he rushed her into surgery like he had originally planned, because it is only off by a tiny bit and not enough for me to want surgery done on it that’s for sure. So her nose is healing well. Then we went off to Bear lake and ended up in the hospital with Maddy and a really bad kidney infection, that we are still battling with. They put her on an antibiotic that gave her a yeast infection (yuck) it has been very miserable. So to end all this drama Kenna got Giardia and two other parasites while at Bear lake that we didn’t discover until a week after we were home so you can imagine how well she is feeling from that. Let’s just say her little bum and belly is very sore!!! And I gave her triple the dose of one of her antibiotics on accident and it made her very sick!!! What a nice Mom!!! And to top that all off I am pretty sure I am growing a HUGE and I mean HUGE baby boy in my belly, he has really put on the pounds in just the last couple weeks. Let’s just say there is no question weather or not I am pregnant that’s for sure. And we can’t leave out Daddy…well maybe we will see him when he learns to slow down a minute or two and not be so busy. He is always going, going and we have sure missed him this month.
