"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Motorbike Race at Noise Park

Well we went camping this weekend but I can't post those fun pictures until I get caught up on all the other fun things that happened last week. Since I am making my blog posts into books I have to go in order :) So here is our last weekend activity that was so fun. The kids had their very first motorbike race and it was so fun to watch them. They were so excited I cannot even put into words just how excited they were. Although the wind was terrible and we got a little bit of rain, snow, hail, and some sunshine it was still fun to watch. Our friend's kids also raced, and my brother's kids raced so altogether we were watching 6 kids race and it was hilarious at times to watch them :) My little Kynzee was taking her own sweet time and I was thankful for that so we wouldn't have another broken nose. There was also an adult race and Josh and his friend Reid rode in that, they have both been practicing for a 120 mile race they are doing next weekend in Boise. The kids had two races, one before the big boys rode and one after so it made for a fun busy day.

I love this picture of the Daddy's checking out the motorbikes and giving the kids some last minute advice!!
So here are the little people we watched................Maddy

Kynzee

My niece Jani (by the way this is the little motorbike I use to ride as a little girl)

My nephew Jaden

Mitchel (our friends little boy)
Savanna (our friends little girl)

Kynzee went down and Daddy was right there on the side of the track to help her get back up!

My little girls when they got done with their race! I was so thankful they were in one piece and that they had fun. They go from dancing one night to riding motorbikes the next day and sometimes I think I could go crazy worrying about them getting hurt on these little bikes :)
Now this was funny! I was taking a picture of Maddy and Jani walking to go get their trophy for riding in the race and Jaden came running by and this is the picture I got of him flying in the air. Now if any of you know Jaden then you know that this is how he runs, he flys :)
I had all these cute kids for the day. My sister in law is expecting a baby and was not feeling well so I had the kids and we had a wonderful time talking with each other while the other kids rode motorbikes, fun times :)
Alyssa (my niece) Miss Kenna and Taya (my niece)

These were pictures of all the other kids watching Daddy's ride. They are so good to cheer their Daddy's on, what a great support team they have aren't they so lucky.

Oh my! Your family is just SOoo cool! I didn't know you rode a motorbike when you were their age. I have always wanted to learn how to ride one......but now I am older......I am getting more and more chicken....which makes me sad. I think that if I had started at a younger age, I would still be doing it by now. Oh well.

I get to live the dreams through your kids. I am just SO impressed and it was fun to see all the pictures! Thanks for sharing.
