"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Our Fun times in May

I keep getting further and further behind so I decided to take a few minutes during nap time (when I probably should be taking a nap) so I can get caught up on our fun times we have had lately.

So first of all the girls had their little graduation night for Preschool and it turned out so cute. They had a part they had to memorize and they both said it so loud and clear I was so proud of both of them. I don't want to forget their cute sayings so I am writing them down here.

Maddy's

A is for alligator
his mouth is a trap
if come near him
it will shut with a snap

Kynzee's

K is for kangaroo
she lives where is hot
she jumps all day long
with her baby a lot

Maddy and Kynzee have been so good to each other in school this year I am so lucky to have them so close in age and be such good friends. They are just so happy and fun and it was good for them to go to school together and learn to take care of one another. I just love these girls. Sorry my pictures are so terrible it was dark and for some reason my camera was not working well. And it didn't help that those little people are always moving when they are singing their songs!!

Happy 54th Birthday to my Dad!! We celebrated my Dad's birthday and it was a wonderful day. My Dad means so much to me. He has always been there for me when I needed him the most, he has set a good example for me, and has taught me so much in my life. I am lucky to have a Dad and to share my Dad with my sweet little girls who love him so much. Happy Birthday Dad I love you!!

O and I can't forget Mother's Day!!! I had the best Mother's day ever, really it was. I am so blessed to be able to be a Mother of three beautiful girls. I know the Lord must have put a lot of faith and trust in me when he sent them to me. I think being a Mother is the best calling in the world. I feel so sad when people put Motherhood off because they are busy with other things in their lives, when there are women out there who would give anything to be a Mother. I will never regret starting a family, and being able to a Mother. I am so lucky!!! Josh had taken the girls to town and made it so fun for them to remember me on Mother's Day, I was so proud. They each had something special to give to me and it was so fun to watch them bring me their thoughtful little gift and say "Happy Mother's Day" and give me a hug. I felt like a real princess, and my girls had smiles from ear to ear. They kept telling me how wonderful Mother's Day is and how they can't wait for next year's Mother's Day. Mother's are wonderful and they do so much for us that it is nice to remember them on their special day. After church we drove to Palisades to see my Grandma. I had a wonderful day with my Grandma who has always been like a Mother to me, she is so special to me. My Mom was also there so I got to spend the day with both of them and it was just great!! My Mom is so good to me and is always there for me, I am so lucky to have her in my life. I have always felt so blessed to have the time I have with my Mom. We then went for a little drive in the mountains and it was a beautiful wonderful day.

Look at this cute shiny purse that my cute little girls picked out just for me!! O how I love those sweet girls.

Beautiful flowers with a heart locket, I am a flower lover, I always love a nice fresh vase of flowers in my kitchen.

Each one of my girls gave me one of these flowers so we can plant them outside.

How can I forget that my sweet mom and sister remember me every year for Mother's Day and they gave me this adorable watch and I LOVE IT!!!!

For the girl's last day of Preschool they got to go to Tauphus park Funland!! What can I say they had so much fun riding the rides. Life is going by so fast I cannot believe another year of school is over. The girls had the funnest school year and today was a wonderful way of ending it.

We were suppose to pack a lunch and have a picnic and it was so windy that we came home and ate our lunch. My girls have the best imagination because the whole time we were eating they kept saying "We are pretending that we are at the park Mom" "We are on a blanket having a picnic Mom" "Isn't this a nice picnic lunch Mom" O they were so cute and made the best out of a bad situation and our nasty wind!!!

I was wondering why you hadn't posted in awhile. Sounds like a fun month so far! I agree with you about motherhood - I don't regret starting our family quickly either though I get some sideways glances every now and again. I hope the rest of your month goes as well!

Looks like you've been having a lot of fun! Those girls are so darling and they are growing up just too fast. I hear you on the wind, it has been windy and COLD here since Tuesday! I just want it to go away so we can play outside again! I hope your wind goes away soon too!

Already done with preschool. What a fast year that was. I can't believe how fast the time goes by. Wish we could stop it whenever we wanted to.

They are So adorable! I bet their graduation was sO cute!

I think we also have the same fun park near our house...it looks SO close to the one the girls went to. SO fun to be a child. And even better when we are mommies. : D
