"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley
This sweet little Kynzee is my biggest helper. She has been so good to me this summer, always so willing to help me out with Raegan or Jaxon. Raegan loves to be held by her and she always goes right to sleep when Kynzee holds her. Kynzee loves her little brother and sisters and she is so gentle and kind to them, I love to watch her read stories to them because she is such a fun story reader. I am going to miss her when she goes back to school next week.
Josh’s hands show how tiny Raegan’s feet are. Josh was headed out the door to work one day and he was touching her tiny feet and I just had to take a few pictures. Raegan’s feet are so soft and they get touched often at our house.
I love Raegan in purple! I have always loved my girls in purple :) She was so bright eyed this night that I snapped these pictures. I love those cute purple bows that I stuck in her hair, my girls are all curious how I got them in there and how do I get them out, they are so funny. Raegan is the softest, sweetest little thing!!
I think my kids thought I was crazy when I made them come inside from playing and I put all their little heads together on the floor and wanted to take pictures, they giggled and giggled. I sure love these 5 kiddos and some days I wonder how I am still going because life is so crazy, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I love every day I have with them and I am so lucky to be their Mommy.
Jaxon loves this new sister of his and he is always wanting to hold her. We were having some fun with Raegan and put her on Jaxon’s back and he loved it!! I hope these two are good buddies someday.
I did not take very many pictures of ball games this summer, in fact I waited until Kenna’s last game to take any. I had Raegan right in the middle of the season and I was lucky to even be able to go to most of her games. I think I only ended up missing one or two games. My Mom was taking the kids to games when I couldn’t and when I got out of the hospital she helped take me so I could watch them, she was the best!! It was a lot of work making sure three girls were to games on time and at the right field, I couldn’t have done it without my Mom. It was so much fun watching Kenna play this year. She has learned so much and she loved playing. She has the best coach and he is so good to her, it was a wonderful year.
Josh and I were married in September of 2002. We have four sweet little girls and a handsome little boy. Maddy 11, Kynzee 9, Makenna 7, Jaxon 5, and Raegan 2. I am a stay at home mommy right now and I am loving every minute of it. I wouldn't trade my job for the world. I love my husband and my children more than anything, and this blog is really all about our lives together. We have so much fun as a family. Life is a journey, not always an easy one, but we are making the most out of each day!
“One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.” Thomas S. Monson
