"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Fullmer Family Reunion

We had my Dad’s family reunion this weekend in Tetonia, on my Grandparents land, such a beautiful place. The weather was perfect, and there were no mosquitoes!! We had a great time, the kids played hard and came home very dirty (which always tells me they had fun). We are staying so busy this summer with lots of activities going on and we are loving it! We are booking up every weekend with something fun because summer doesn’t last long!

Of course Jaxon with Pa Pa!! (Notice the binky in one of Pa Pa’s hands and a capri sun in the other) No wonder why Jaxon likes Pa Pa so much!!

We always have a raffle…so much fun especially when I am trying to take care of kids and I don’t hear my raffle ticket number called!! Sorry Monika!! This year we raised $700, we use the money to buy things for the land so that we can have fun when we go there.

These are my cousins Monika and Whitney

Kenna had these balloons and she was tired of holding them so she ran up to Jesse and said “Here Jesse hold these for a minute” then she ran away and thought it was funny that he was stuck with them. Jesse was not happy.

So he passed them on to Jaden and Jaden was smart enough to start passing them out to all the kids and eventually most of them ended up in the sky.

Mindy brought rocks and paint for the kids to make rock creatures, they loved it!

Uncle Jesse and Karlee. Karlee didn’t know she was sitting on Jesse’s lap because when her Mom set her there she never looked back to see who she was with, if she would have known she would have been screaming!!

Every year on the way home from the reunion I always want to stop and take a picture of my kids in front of the Tetons but I never stop because the perfect spot is on a hill and we are always pulling the trailer behind us and it wouldn’t be easy to stop. Well this year I drove myself and I didn’t have the trailer so I stopped. My kids were so dirty from playing so hard and their hair was a mess and I mean a mess because of taking their helmets on and off all day, but I took a picture  anyway. It was a beautiful day and considering I made the kids stare into the sun I think it turned out to be a pretty picture. The kids were blinded by the sun and they were not happy with me, but hey you can see the Tetons on the background :)

It was little better this direction!!

Oh you'll be SO glad you stopped to take that picture in years to come. They are SO cute. Time passes so quickly.

What a fabulous family reunion.

Nat.....I have to tell you how good and healthy you look. Truly. You seem to be doing so well. I hope so.
