"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Idaho 100 Motorbike Race

Another year at the Idaho 100 race!! So much fun for us all. This race is quite the event, it takes a lot of practice on the motorbike and only my friend Rachel would agree with me there because we know how much time our husbands leave and practice on those motorbikes. I am so glad my husband has something that he loves to do, and friends to go with. I know he works very hard and there is never a day that he just sits (except Sunday of course) so I love for him to have some fun in life. But I especially love when we get to go and have fun with him. It was a beautiful weekend, the weather was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Josh finished the 125 mile race and he was in one piece when he finished and that’s all I wanted :) He was vey tired, but he had fun. My brother’s Nick and Nathan raced and Josh’s friend Reid raced as well so the kids and I got to spend the day with his wife Rachel and their four kids. The kids played and had a blast with each other and Rachel and I had a fun weekend away from the stresses at home. I can’t wait until next year.

The girls waiting to see their Daddy’s at the fuel stop in the middle of the race. We don’t get to watch the race, because it is in the mountains, but they have fuel stops at three different places that we could see them at but only for a few minutes. We would help them put gas in their bikes and give them a drink and maybe a banana and then say goodbye again. It was always a rush when we saw them because they were in a hurry to leave so they could make their time.

You updated your blog!! You always take such great photos, and I love how you word things. You are a natural writer! You should write a book someday.
