"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Christmas Party with the Fullmers

When I was a little girl we always had a Christmas Eve Party at my Grandma and Grandpa Fullmer’s house and we would put on a little nativity for the kids it was so fun. So I decided to start that tradition back up again. The kids loved it and I am sure they will always remember it like I remember it from when I was their age. My Mom introduced each person and who they were and what part they played in the nativity, and she told the Christmas Story, it was neat to hear all about each person so long ago. My one brother did not come and his three boys were suppose to be wisemen so since they didn’t come I made my other two brothers and my brother in law the wisemen, I know they loved it!!! And they made excellent wisemen :) Some of the families prepared a song and tried to sing :) My Mom and Dad and my brother Jesse sang Grandma got ran over by a reindeer and she dressed up like an old Grandma it was funny!  My niece played the piano and we ate soup!! It was a really fun night.DSC_0120  DSC_0118DSC_0123
