"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Rodeo at the Fair

For Maddy’s Birthday this year we went to the Rodeo at the fair and it was a blast!! The kids were so good and they absolutely loved it. We ended up meeting up with my sister Katie and her husband Rodger which was fun! It was a beautiful night to go and we had front row seats :) My little Jaxon was watching the entire time! I was so glad they all had fun you just never know with bringing kids to things like that if they will want to sit still and watch or not. I think this will become a yearly thing we enjoyed it so much. My little girls loved watching the cowgirls ride their horses. And my favorite is the bull riding even though I am scared to death for those bull riding cowboys.

I will remember not to let my baby boy grow up to be a cowboy even though his Daddy would probably disagree with me!
