"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Horse Ride for the girls
Uncle Jon taking a nap in Maddy's "kitty blanky" I am surprised Maddy let him use her favorite blanky that she had to take with her on the horse ride! Uncle Jon and Kynzee being cool together! Kynzee sure loves Uncle Jon. The girls got to go on a horse ride this weekend with Daddy, Pa Pa Willy, Uncle Jon, Uncle Justin and some other friends. The girls were gone all day long and they had so much fun. Every year on October 15 Josh goes elk hunting with his family and it is always a major event for the family. They pack their camp in weeks before the hunt which is what the girls got to do today, and then when it comes time to go hunting the tent is set up and they don't have as much to pack in to camp. So they ride in on horses and camp and hunt for a week until the hunt is done or until they get something. This is a tradition that the family keeps doing and it is fun to be able to have my girls involved in it. They love being outdoors and riding horses, pretty much they love anything Daddy is doing!
Josh and I were married in September of 2002. We have four sweet little girls and a handsome little boy. Maddy 11, Kynzee 9, Makenna 7, Jaxon 5, and Raegan 2. I am a stay at home mommy right now and I am loving every minute of it. I wouldn't trade my job for the world. I love my husband and my children more than anything, and this blog is really all about our lives together. We have so much fun as a family. Life is a journey, not always an easy one, but we are making the most out of each day!
“One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.” Thomas S. Monson
