"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Lava Hot Springs

I just love summertime!!! There is so much to do and the kids have tons of fun everywhere we go. We made a trip to Lava and went swimming!!! The girls have been asking for goggles so they can see under the water so I finally got them each a pair and boy was it worth it. They loved their goggles and they were so amazed with what they could see under water. I didn't take very many pictures I was too busy having fun swimming so this is the best I have for ya, fun fun times :)

Life is good

I am so glad it finally stopped raining!! The kids have been having so much fun outside and we have just been going, going!! Summer always goes by so fast and I think it's because we never slow down. But I love to get out of the house and have places to go and people to see so I am not complaining at all. In fact the next 6 weekends are really just packed full of fun things to do and we are getting excited to be on the move again, wether it's in the trailer, car or hotel it will be fun! We are all well and happy at my house and things are going good. Life is Good!!!

Here are some fun pictures of my little angel that keeps me going so fast everyday, gotta love her!!

Happy Birthday Mom

I had a birthday party for Mom and it was so much fun!! We had pizza and pie and just sat around and talked and laughed and made memories, I love times like this. Happy birthday Mom I love you!!

No training wheels for Kynzee!!

The girls were outside playing one day and Maddy came in and said "Mom Kynzee can ride her bike with no training wheels!" I looked out the door and sure enough there she was riding away. Maddy taught her how..what a nice big sister she is. She is so happy that she can ride a bike and keep up with her sister.

Summer Fun

Okay so we all know it has been raining for the whole month of June!!!! I like the rain but not this much. So we have been finding things to do to keep the kids entertained so they can have a fun summer. We went to see the movie UP and it was the cutest show, I loved it and would recommend it to anyone. All three of my kids watched it and did super good I was so proud of them. I know this is a small picture, but it was awesome you better go see it!!

We also took the kids to their favorite place.... Leos Pizza!!! They had a blast, I was so glad we went and let them get out and get rid of some of that bottled up energy.

I make the girls eat first before playing so they don't spread germs and they usually are not very happy with me so this is a picture of them wanting to play so bad but Mom making them wait!!

This is like a child's heaven land!!!

Kenna's loved this train!!!

I have been enjoying my two year old!!! Kenna is so much fun, she is always on the go and keeping me running everyday. She has been playing dress up a lot and loves to paint her nails. I got some cute pictures of her being beautiful with her nails painted and her skirt, her shoes and her purse that she takes everywhere. I have to mention the hair that Kynzee did for her earlier in the day :) I love this girl she is so fun, she just makes me so happy and I had to share one of the fun days I had with her.

Motorbike Race in Boise

My brothers have been racing in this 100 mile race in Boise for a few years now and Josh decided to try it out this year. It is actually in Idaho City right before Boise way up in the mountains and this year it was 115 mile race!!! Josh left at 10:45 a.m. and did not cross the finish line until 6:36 p.m. It was such a hot, long day and I felt so bad for the riders because a lot of them didn't even get to finish the race it was so long. It was a very hard race in the mountains going through all kinds of trails and logs and side hills. We didn't even get to watch them because they were back so far up the mountain we couldn't see them. There was a gas stop that they had where we waited for them to come in so we knew they weren't hurt or missing somewhere like some riders were. So we got to see them one time in the middle of the race for just a minute and then they were off again. I couldn't believe my crazy husband really wanted to do this or do it again next year. But it was a fun weekend that we won't forget, especially Josh!!!
The girls being so good in the car!!

Josh before the race checking in his bike, I was thinking this might be the last time we see him in one piece :)
