"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Princess Kenna 15 months

My friend Kacey made this cute pink skirt and called me up one day to see if she could take Kenna's pictures in it. I was so excited and I knew they would turn out cute! Thank you Kacey for all your hard work taking pictures of my girls, you do such an awesome job. I loved every one of them and I couldn't decide which ones to post so I just posted a bunch. Cute Cute!

Weekend in Utah

My cousin Jeremy got married this weekend in the Mount Timpanogas Temple. We decided to go down with my parents and make a weekend out of it. We stayed in a Hotel and the girls got to swim and stay right across the hall from Grandma and Grandpa which was so much fun for them. The luncheon was held in the garden room at Thanksgiving Point and it was so beautiful, there were flowers everywhere. As you can see from my pictures Kenna was more interested in the flowers than having her picture taken. We had a blast and the girls enjoyed playing with family that they don't get to see very often.

Update on the Basement

Most of you know that my brother and his family are coming to live with me for awhile. They will be here next Sunday. And every time I talk to them they seem a little bit unsure about our basement being done for them. We started finishing the basement right when Nathan found out he was coming home and we only had one month to finish it. Considering the time we have had to work with we have been moving right along. I told them I would keep posting new pictures to convince them that it will be done. So Nathan here are the cabinets you thought would delay our schedule. I promise we will have it done for you. We are so excited to have them come, the girls can hardly wait to have cousins in their home. Our next step is finish some painting, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, hang light fixtures, tile in shower and bathtub, and flooring. This will all take place next week while Josh and Mom and Dad are on there way to get Nathan and his family to move them back home. Can't wait to see you!

Fireworks

We love going to the fireworks every year! This year we decided to sit closer than we usually do. We got a perfect spot right in front of the Shilo Inn and it was so much fun. The fireworks were so loud and so close to us that the girls were amazed! Kenna kept pointing to them saying "look" and she loved them. Josh went motorbike riding with his family during the day (we stayed home because Kynzee was having one of her bad asthma days) so I went with Josh's sister and her boyfriend Jordan to the fireworks because I didn't think Josh would get home in time. I didn't want to sit home and wait for him and then miss them. Well Josh made it right as the fireworks started, it was perfect. Jess and Jordan were so nice to help me with the kids, the girls just love both of them :) We had a wonderful 4th of July!

4th of July Parade

The girls had so much fun at the parade this year. They played with cousins Anthony and Jenna. They also got to see Pa Pa Fullmer's fire truck in the parade and we got a couple pictures. Parades are always fun for the kids, we are glad we were able to go.

Curlers for Kenna

Grandma helped us put curlers in Kenna's hair for pictures. Kenna had so much fun playing with the curlers and Grandma showed her how to put them on her fingers. Kenna's hair didn't go very curly she was born with straight hair and I think that's how it is going to stay :)
