Halloween Pictures!

I love to dress the girls up for holidays and take pictures of them together. This year Kenna wore the same cute Halloween out fit that Maddy and Kynzee wore at her age. Grandma Williams gave it to Maddy for her first birthday and we have loved it every year when we get to put it on a little girl for Halloween. It is so fun to see the pictures of them all at the same age in the same outfit. I didn't have a digital camera then so I can't post pictures of them. Kynzee wore the same out fit that Maddy wore last year for Halloween, it is so nice that I have three girls and all their clothes can be handed down. I got some cute pictures of all of them. We have our pumpkins sitting on our front porch and Kenna loves to look out the window and say pumpkin, she is so cute when she learns a new word she says it over and over. The girls are so excited for Halloween they have been counting down the days.

Blog made into a book!

My year mark of when I started this blog is coming soon and I told myself when I started this blog that I wasn't going to do it and have it be a waste of my time. So I am making it into a blog book for a journal/year review of our lives. I decided I am going to do it at the end of every year. I am very excited and I will show you my masterpiece when I get it done. Do any of you know the best places to get your blogs published on. I know of one site but I am up for other options as well. Thanks.

Photo Tag!!

I was tagged by Monika.....

1. Go to your pictures
2. Upload the 4th picture of your fourth file
3. Post
4. Tag 4 of your friends

I tag.....all of my blogging family and friends! Come on I know you can do it.

This is a picture of Maddy when she was 2 1/2 years old and she was in my closet playing dress up with my dresses and shoes. I was in the other room and didn't know what she was doing and I was surprised when I found her so I took a picture. I hate looking back at pictures because it makes me sad for how fast my girls are growing but it is such a sweet memory I have of Maddy, thanks Monika!

Back to the Dr. for Kynzee

My poor little Kynzee has had asthma since she was a baby, we were hoping she would grow out of it by now, but no luck yet. I have decided that going into the nursing field was a great choice that I made because I use the knowledge that I have about asthma on Kynzee everyday. I would be a nervous wreck about Kynzee's breathing if I didn't know what I know. We have a few really bad months out of the year where Kynzee has attacks and other times she will be fine. The season is starting for Kynzee and I feel so bad for her. The Doctor's recommended a flu shot because they said if she didn't get one she would be really bad if she got the flu, and I have had a flu shot given to her every year. So we had flu shots for everyone about two weeks ago. Well having the flu shot put her into an asthma attack and it has been going on for weeks, she has a horrible cough and can hardly even breath at night. She wakes up soaking wet in sweat because she is trying so hard to breath. I usually hold her at night or sleep right beside her because it is so scary. I have had her outside because it has been warmer and I thought she could use some fresh air (well I am a dumb mom because it only made her worse)The Doctor told me today that her lungs are full of pneumonia. Sometimes with an asthma attack (which is always the case with Kynzee) it settles in the lungs and causes pneumonia. Kynzee has had pneumonia 5 times now!!! I had been debating on taking Kynzee in and I am so glad I did because the Dr. said it would have only gotten worse in the night and I can't imagine what worse would have been. I am not looking forward to the winter months ahead, it is so cold and hard for Kynzee. She is such a sweet little angel with a quiet, sweet little spirit about her. She has to have so many shots and breathing treatments, I hate it because she is so sweet. We have a lot of hope that she will grow out of this. But for now we will have some rough days or weeks ahead of us. Anyone have any advice on what to do for kids with asthma.

I gave Kenna some bangs!

I got so tired of Kenna's hair always being in her eyes so I took the scissors and cut her some bangs (I didn't do a very good job I know) They aren't very straight and Kenna was not happy with me so I couldn't fix them. I put a cute little barrette in her hair and I wanted to take a picture of her first hair cut. Well from what you can see from the pictures she was mad at me and didn't want the barrette in her hair. She was very happy once she got the barrette out. Kenna has quite the personality and she brings a lot of excitement to us in our home. She puts a smile on my face everyday that's for sure.

Carving Pumpkins!

We finally carved our pumpkins tonight and it was so much fun. The girls asked why we can't carve pumpkins every night. We had these fun patterns and we tried them out for the first time. It was actually pretty hard to carve all the little corners, but the girls insisted that we try, so I am glad that the pumpkins turned out how they wanted. Katie came over and brought a pumpkin to carve also, she had a blast. I accidentally tore the stem off of Kenna's pumpkin so I tried hot gluing it back on, and it worked until Kenna got a hold of it and it broke again. She was so funny because she thought she pulled it off so she kept trying to put it back on. She was also poking in the eyes and mouth of the pumpkin and laughing so hard, she loved her pumpkin. She was very tired so she went to bed right when we got done with her pumpkin, that's why she isn't in the end pictures. Overall we all had fun and we kept some of the pumpkin seeds to cook tomorrow. Fun Fun night!

Fall family pictures

My sweet friend Kacey took these fall family pictures for us. I love having updated pictures all the time. It seems like my kids grow so fast and I don't take enough pictures at home. I don't want to miss out on anything in my children's lives and pictures are the best way to remember how they were and are. I have been lucky to know such wonderful photographers who take such great pictures. I think this photo session has been the funnest for my kids. The girls played in the leaves and had so much fun together. This was the first time they had ever played in the leaves and they thought it was great. Kacey got some treasured pictures for us, and I am so grateful, thank you Kacey!

I love this saying! Don't we all want to live our lives as prefect as we can so that our children can walk beside us and follow in our example. I think our world today is so sad the way that people live their lives is so destructive to their children and their families. We can all be a little better at being good examples for our children, so they can grow up to be more Christlike people.

Aren't these girls just little treasures? I love them to death!!!

Makenna's Magic Shoes

This little sweetheart of mine grew out of all her size 4 shoes. So I had to bring the box of size 5 shoes up and boy was Makenna in heaven. She absolutely loves shoes, any one's shoes. She wanted to try on all the shoes, and her favorite ones were these fun hello kitty slippers that were Maddy and Kynzee's when they were small. She was so happy when I put these on her little feet she ran around the house like she had magic shoes on. I was laughing so hard, she made me so happy today. I love my sweet little girls, there is no greater happiness!
