"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Welcome Home Uncle Jon

Josh’s brother Jon just returned from his mission to Argentina. We went to the airport to see him come off the plane and then we went over to Josh’s parents house for a BBQ. It’s crazy how in two years so much can change!! My kids refer to Uncle Jon as the Uncle who says the moon is made out of cheese, they love him so much. Jon had never met Jaxon before, but Jaxon sure loved him the minute Jon held him. Kenna on the other hand was very shy and was hiding from Jon. We wanted a picture of the two of them together because Kenna’s  dress matched Jon’s tie and she flopped over and would not let me take her picture with him. It was sure fun to see him again and we are glad he is home!!

Playday!!!

Skyler and Kenlee came over to play with my girls for the day and they had a blast!!! Maddy and Skyler had been begging for a playday the whole month of June at every t-ball game and they finally got one! These girls are all growing up so fast, it is so hard to believe. They are so sweet and have so much fun together. They did not want their playday to end!!

Pasley BBQ

We had a fun Pasley get together at my Aunt Judy and Uncle Jerry’s house. The kids love their house because they live down by the river and they have lots of trees and fun things to play with like apples from the apple tree. The kids roll down their hills and run and play in their yard and they love it. I don’t think they love being yelled at to stay away from the water, but there are so many kids we have to keep them safe! So here are some fun pictures from our fun night together and when Judy puts some on her blog I will steal some and add more to mine, like the group picture of everyone together. Love ya Jerry and Judy, thanks for the fun night!!

Kenna loves their grass and she was rolling and playing in it!
