Raegan loves this little buggy car and she has learned to get in and out of it all by herself. She acts like she is so proud of herself that she has figured this out. She is becoming more and more independent and its fun to watch her. She is such a sweetheart and is so busy and moves so fast I cant even get a picture without her hands or face going blurry :)
Raegan has been my slowest one for learning to stand and walk she has just had no interest in it at all. So she has finally got the standing thing figured out and she stands at the top of the stairs and makes all kinds of noises and I imagine that she is trying to get her sisters attention so she can go downstairs with them to play. She knows she is missing out because downstairs is where all the fun toys are. It has been fun to watch her learn new things everyday.
My sister came over and had hurt her leg and needed to go to the doctor so she asked me to watch her little boy Kolby. We had so much fun with him! Jaxon and Raegan love him but he isn't sure about Raegan he acts very intimidated by her and its really funny to watch. The kids played hard and ate popsicles and then his Mommy was there to pick him up. She worried he would be sad when she left but he wasn’t sad at all he loved it!!
This silly little cartoon in Jaxon’s favorite!! He asked for Caillou all day long and then he sits there as stiff as can be while he watches it. I love that he has a favorite show so fun for him!!
We went for a fun motorbike ride to fall creek with our friends the Fuhrimans. This was a blast!! It was a beautiful evening and no one was out it was just us and the trail and some deer. We hit a wild thunder and lightening and rain storm on the way out and it was scary but we made it out alive. I took a couple bad crashes on hillsides that dropped off the side of the mountain and it scared me so bad I don’t know if I will ever to go to the very top again. We usually just ride with the kids so we make it easy but this was more difficult. We had a lot of fun but I was thrilled to make it back to the truck that night. I use to ride like this all the time when I was younger I would go with my dad and brothers and it never scared me but now a Mommy with 5 kids I have got to be a little more careful.
These are terrible blurry phone pictures but I had to put them in my blog to remember how much fun Raegan had playing in the lid drawer. She would sit here for hours and dig all the lids out and then put them all back in and in the process she would sit in the drawer. Raegan loves the lid drawer!
This is what Maddy’s natural curly hair does when its in a pony tail and she has been playing in the water all day. She came in to get a popsicle and I could help but take a quick picture of her. I love this sweet girl of mine and she is getting so bog so fast it makes me sad.
Josh spent a beautiful summer day cleaning and organizing the shop. With five kids and all their bikes and toys and all Josh’s tools and toys it get very messy really fast! We have a really nice neighbor Robbie who comes over and helps Josh with stuff like this, he is such a good helper.
My kids love swimming in the backyard on a hot summer day! I love watching them laugh and play for hours they always have so much fun with each other. I always buy them a $20 pool at the beginning of the summer and by the end of the summer it is so worn out it goes in the garbage it gets its use that’s for sure. We all love a nice hot summer day of fun!
