"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Raegan’s Checkup

Raegan had to go back down to Salt Lake to the eye doctor to make sure her eye was looking okay and they had to pull the stent out of her eye. This was so traumatic for her, the doctor wrapped her in a blanket and 4 men helped hold her down and the doctor pulled the stent out of her eye, she cried and cried and her eye was bleeding all over her clothes it was so sad to watch. The stent had grown into the tissue so it had attached itself and then when they pulled it out it ripped part of her eye, this was awful. This was something that Josh and I and Raegan will never forget. We stopped at a park on the way home to let Raegan play and then got home and she slept so good that night I think she was so worn out from her traumatic day.
