Poor little Rae was so sad for weeks after having her eye surgery. She could not get comfortable and could not sleep, I held her most of the time to try to comfort her and she would sometimes fall asleep or occasionally pop her eyes open to see if I was still with her. I imagine this had to have been very traumatic for her. Her eye looked so sore and I wondered if it was ever going to heal.
