"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa

I took the kids over to see my Mom and Dad one night while Josh was gone hunting. My mom just got some really bad news about the glaucoma in hers eyes on this day. They have only given her a short time to be able to see. It was sad as I watched her interact with my kids, she is so good to them and she sits down and plays with them and teaches them wonderful things. Mom taught Raegan how to play pat a cake and Raegan loves it. We are praying for a miracle for Mom’s eyes. I sure do love my parents and my kids love Grandma and pa pa!DSC_7997DSC_7998DSC_7999DSC_8000DSC_8001DSC_8002DSC_8004

Oh I am SO sorry to hear about your mom's eyes. That is so heartbreaking. I can't even imagine how she must be feeling. I will keep her in my prayers. And also pray for a miracle.
