Raegan and her Daddy

I love watching Raegan and her Daddy together. Raegan smiles and giggles at him and it wears her out and then she falls asleep on his chest, it’s  a nighttime routine after he gets home from work..so fun for Raegan.

Sleeping Baby

I can never pass up an opportunity to take a picture of a sleeping baby, they are so sweet! I love this precious baby of mine and I love to watch her sleep so peaceful even when there is so much noise going on in our home.

Playing with Kolby

My sister broke her arm and could not take care of her little boy Kolby so Jaxon and I and Raegan packed up for the day and went to her house to help. Jaxon and Kolby had a blast playing together!! Jaxon is lucky to have Kolby because he is the only little boy his age that he gets to see because he is stuck in a house full of girls all the time. Jaxon thinks Kolby is bigger and older than he really is and always tries to play harder with him than he should, someday they will be best buddies causing all kinds of trouble I am sure.

Yes that is Raegan in the wagon, Jaxon always tries to include Raegan when he plays.

Cousins

When Jaxon and his cousin Karlee get together it is a wild party! They are so fun together and so similar in a lot of ways. We got to watch Karlee for a couple hours one day so Jaxon was in heaven playing with her. They both smile with their eyes closed…hilarious to watch!!!

Snuggle time with Daddy

Raegan loves to sleep on Daddy’s chest, she always has. I love to sneak a picture every time I find them like this. So sweet!!

Raegan eating her fist

I love watching Raegan try to get her fat fist in her mouth! It’s a process to find the fist and then she wiggles its way into her mouth and when she finally gets it in there she sucks and sucks…she loves it!

Riding in the Tractor

We have been looking at a couple pieces of land behind us for quite a while now and Josh finally decided to buy it! We have been really excited about it, there are so many options as to what we can use it for. For now we are going to farm it, maybe later use it to build another home. We have access to it from our backyard so it is really nice, the kids can ride motorbikes back there. There is another piece right next to it that we are looking at next, a work in progress I guess. Josh’s Dad came over and cut the hay and grass for us and the kids got to ride with him in the tractor and they loved it!!

Raegan 2 1/2 Months

Raegan is so chubby and so happy we are so lucky to have such good babies. I have never had a hard baby, they have all been so good and for that I am grateful, and I guess that would explain why I have 5 of them! Raegan loves this little vibrating seat that she sits in and she could watch baby Einstein or barney or just watch the kids play for hours and not make a peep. She loves to listen to her sisters play the piano, she is always so relaxed and content. Love this sweet baby girl.

Playing Dinosaurs

Jaxon loves playing with Raegan but sometimes he is not very gentle especially when he plays dinosaurs with her! Someone has to be right there to make sure he does not hurt her because he can get a little rough with his dinosaurs. I think these two will be good buddies someday…well maybe. I  love watching these two with each other. At the end of the dinosaur play time Jaxon had put every dinosaur and dragon that he owns on Raegan and she was not so sure about it.

Princess shoes

My cousin Brooke gave Raegan these cute little gold princess shoes and I love them! My Aunt Kendi passed away a year ago from cancer and Brooke is her daughter. Kendi always gave me cute little shoes and a soft blanket for my babies when they were born. Brooke took over her Mom’s tradition with her gift giving for babies and it was so special to receive a gift that Aunt Kendi would have given. Raegan looked so cute in her gold princess shoes!!

Raegan always looks so worried and I think it is because when her 2 year old brother is near she is afraid!!! She has every right to be afraid of him…even I am!!

First Day of School

I have to say that I am one of those parents that love having my kids home for the summer and I dread having them go back to school. My girls are such good helpers with Raegan and Jaxon and the house and they are always so fun to have a round that I just miss them when they are gone. I almost feel lost like I don’t know what to do without them. I hated to see them go back to school but they were all very excited so that was good. It was a beautiful warm day and it just didn’t  seem right that they were not in the backyard swimming or playing like they had been all summer. I have a feeling it might be a long school year. I love these girls and I hope they know how much they are missed when they go to school. I hope their teachers love having them in their classes and enjoy them as much as their Mommy does.
