First day home from the hospital

Our first day home was actually Father’s Day so it was a special day. I felt horrible and was in a lot of pain so I sat on the couch most of the day and I did not move very much. It is so hard to get up and down and move after having a c-section, it’s amazing how much you need those stomach muscles and when they are cut through your world kind of slows down for a while. My pain pills were not working because the pharmacy did not have the ones that the doctor had wanted me on that would have worked for my pain so they had to put me on something else because there was no other pharmacy open Saturday night when we came home, bad deal really and I paid for it that’s for sure or I should say my body paid for it because of the pain I was in. So I sat on the couch with a pillow on my lap with my mug of water next to me, my camera close by and Raegan laying on my chest or on the pillow sleeping. I watched the kids play and I watched Josh open his Father’s Day presents and watched him take care of everything that day and I took pictures of Raegan laying on the pillow. Here is my precious little one on this first day home. Now remember that I took the pictures while she was on my lap so I did the best I could, there are a couple that I took right after I gave her a bath first thing in the morning before planting myself on the couch.
