"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Raegan Ruth Williams

I know I am way past due on posting this but I decided today was better than never. I will make it short and catch up later. For now here are the details….Raegan was born June 13, 2012 at 12:40 p.m. at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She weighed 6 lbs 5 oz and was 19 inches long. I was scheduled for a c-section on Father’s Day and I went in for my appointment on the 13th and the doctor said he thought something was wrong, maybe I was in labor, he really didn’t know so he sent me up to the hospital and they watched me for about thirty minutes on the monitors and then they came in and said the doctor said he wants to take the baby today in one hour. I was really surprised and thrown for a loop with it all. I could not get a hold of anyone to tell them and it was just a big mess. I had not finished packing my bags and I was really worried because I didn’t get to say goodbye to my kids that morning because they were sleeping when I left.  I finally found my Mom and she headed over to my house so Josh could come to the hospital. Josh came to the hospital just in time to throw some surgery clothes on and they wheeled me back. I cannot say this has been my easiest delivery because it has not. There have been many obstacles in the way, I will have to write the whole story on another day. But we are now home and things are looking good. Raegan is an angel and just as sweet as can be, she is so tiny, my smallest baby. She has tiny little features on her and the kids cannot stop touching her.  She is very loved in our home!! Here are some pictures from the hospital and I have lots more to come.DSC_4477DSC_4472DSC_4492DSC_4503DSC_4506DSC_4508DSC_4510DSC_4482DSC_4546DSC_4543DSC_4579DSC_4567DSC_4551DSC_4561
