"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Building the baby crib

I finally decided to give in and buy another crib. Jaxon is my only child that has not climbed out of his crib, and he sleeps so good that I did not want to put him in a bed right before the baby comes. So to make things easy for all of us I am keeping Jaxon in his crib and we bought another one for the baby. With all my other pregnancies, I always had a toddler who was climbing out of the crib anyway so then we just switched them to a bed, Jaxon is such a good little boy I don’t know if he will ever do that even if he wanted to. So Josh and Jaxon put the crib together and Jaxon was a big helper. He got his own little tools out and he did whatever his Daddy did, it was so fun to watch. Josh and I were both laughing so hard!! As soon as there were two sides put together Jaxon started saying baby bed…baby bed…he knew it was for the baby and we had not even told him that it was the babies bed, smart little boy!!DSC_4403

And of course Jaxon had to try it out!! This little guy is so excited for the baby to come and I am excited so he will stop randomly lifting my shirt up in public to see the baby.DSC_4422

I love seeing Jaxon's pouty lips. He always looks like he is contemplating something.
