The Easter bunny did find our house this year!! The kids had lots of fun. The bunny brought the girls each a kite, a bug catcher, something for their Barbie house and some flip flops and lots of candy. He brought Jaxon a huge dump truck (that he absolutely loves) some rain boots, flip flops and a book and a little bit of candy. The kids spent the morning digging through their baskets and eating way too much candy. I looked up the Easter video to show the kids so that they were reminded of the true meaning of Easter. As I watched the looks on their faces as they saw what the people did to Jesus Christ I got teary eyed. He did so much for us and my kids saw the pain and I could tell they were so concerned. I wanted them to know what Easter is really about and by just watching that video I know that they knew. When I think about all that Jesus went through for us I think the things he asks of us are so small and each one of us should be able to do them, we are so blessed. We got ready for church and made it just in time. The kids were really good at church and it was a special Sunday with lots of spiritual talks and lessons on Easter Sunday. It was an emotional day for me for so many reasons, but we kept it together and had a Happy Easter and an Easter that I wont forget.
This is Jaxon’s classic look!! He seriously does this in 90% of his pictures! Gotta love those puckered lips!!
I tried to get a picture before we left to church. Jaxon was mad and he would not let me take his picture, so this is the best I could get. I had to put the band aid on his head because he had some medicine on his big sore and I didn’t want him rubbing it off. He did not like the band aid…little stinker.
