"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Maddy’s haircut

I have always thought how lucky I was to have girls who never try to cut their own hair. Well, I was wrong…Maddy got a hold of the scissors a few weeks ago and this is her aftermath that we are dealing with. She has had to wear a headband everyday for the last month because we cannot get these short pieces of hair to stay down. She has even sprayed them with tons and tons of hairspray without me knowing and they still don’t stay down. I don’t notice the hairspray mess until I wash her hair at bath time that night :) Let’s just say Maddy has learned her lesson because she is very annoyed with this new haircut of hers.

I can't believe she did that! It is usually younger ones who do things like that. Poor girl. Hopefully it will grow out fast.

Poor Maddy. All I can say when I was younger I never experimented cutting my own hair, only my little sisters hair. Definitely a better option. :)

Oh that is nuts. Thats a strange place to cut. I hope keylee never cuts her hair. I've pretty much put the fear in her. I just hope the fear stays there. Godd thing Maddy is so beautiful, maybe no one will even notice her little peacock feathers stickin up.

Oh man. Although I do have to admit, I don't cut my own hair and I still have funny little hairs that do that!

I thought it was just little ones that did that. She must of had something in mind when she tried to cut her hair. But it's interesting to me when kids do that. They all have so many different answers as to "why". ; D
