I saw the Dr in Utah today, it went so wonderful! I just felt so good after going there. It was just what I was praying for. I knew it was too much to pray for it to go away so I was just praying to feel at peace with it and with the Dr I was seeing. That is exactly what I received!!! He wants his pathology at the Huntsman Cancer Center to look at the cells in the biopsy that I had done here to confirm a diagnosis. He might want another biopsy of his own, I hope not. There is just to much still up in the air on these cells to confirm what they are exactly. I don't know if it was just a bad biopsy or what. Which it shouldn't have been a bad biopsy because they poked me 14 times, and I passed out 4 times through the whole thing!!!! He said it is to suspicious!! He said the cancer that it would be is slow growing so I have time to wait for all these results from these biopsies, it's not like it would spread fast or anything. He also said it might not even be what they were thinking. It was so reassuring to go see him, he was s0 peaceful, and he made me feel at peace with everything. He just had this wonderful spirit about him that was just what I needed. My husband even thought he was great! He did an ultrasound to confirm the lumps and where they are exactly and how big. He ruled out any other lumps in my neck which I was very happy about. I have a lot of swollen glands but not cancer glands! The one thing that makes him the most concerned is my family history of this kind of cancer. He explained to me how serious it is when they take the thyroid out and that he wants to be sure he knows exactly what this is before he sends me to surgery. I agree with him 100% It makes me a little nervous leaving it in and not knowing for sure, the unknown always scares me. I am going to be patient a little longer and the Dr said he will call me in 10 days and give me a plan. I am very hopeful!!
Anyway enough about that!!! Now here are some fun pictures from our mini vacation to Utah. We didn't know what to do without the girls, it was actually the first time we have left them with anyone other than when I was in the hospital having a baby. It was crazy so quiet but my little boy actually got some attention so it was nice for him. He doesn't like the water so it was interesting to see his reaction to the swimming pool at the hotel. He ended up thinking it was pretty fun!! Jaxon also got to meet his Great Grandma Fjelstrom (Josh's Mom's Mom) and I was lucky enough to get a picture after I had to beg Grandma for one. We had a fun time with each other it was nice to go even if it was for a Dr appointment.
