"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Jaxon’s haircut

So I am not very good with this boy thing. I have been a Mom to girls and I never have to get their hair cut, just a trim. Well I like a clean cut boy with a nice looking haircut. My brothers and my Dad always had a nice haircut, it was never shaggy and so that’s what I like!! Well I don’t know how to cut hair, but I did my best today and this is what i got. Does anyone have any tips for me because I am pretty sure you could just call him “Butch”! I love this cute little man of mine. Which one do you like better? Help me out!!

Before the ButchDSC_1443 After the Butch :)DSC_1712DSC_1679DSC_1677DSC_1684   My Grandma Fullmer has made each one of my kids these cute mini levi quilts when they turn one. Well she brought Jaxon’s over and it is so cute. It has “I am a Child of God” print on the back. I tried to take some pictures of Jaoxn with it and it just wasn’t happening because he wanted down so he could eat the yarn on the quilt and to play with his firetruck. He is a fast little guy that’s for sure.DSC_0063 DSC_0069 DSC_0076 DSC_0078

Honestly.......I think you did a FINE haircut. He looks like a little man now. Hope you saved his first locks cut in his baby book. ; D
