"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Memorial weekend camping

O camping....gotta love it even if it is in the rain :) It only rained half the time so that was nice, but boy was it muddy and slippery. I was glad I brought lots of warm clothes and the rain boots! It was nice to get away and spend time together, the kids had a blast and that's all that really matters.

Josh had lots of fun taking the kids for rides on the 4-wheeler

Our friends went with us and this is Reid with his kids loving the 4-wheeler as well.

I kept baby Jaxon all bundled up so he would stay warm and he was such a good baby

Our friends "The Fuhriman's"

Making smores

Having fun watching movies in the trailer (I know that should not be allowed while camping but we sure like it when it is rainy outside)

Maddy was a big helper with Jaxon and he sure likes Maddy

Look who found his toes :)

We went camping in Tetonia where my Grandparents have land and they have this moose up all year round. Well my kids have started calling this camping place "The one with the moose" especially Kenna, so I had to have a picture!

I love these little motorbikes I don't think I will ever be too big for them.

Riding...Riding....Riding...even in the mud!!!

Rachel with Treyton and Carolina
Maddy, Mitchell, and Savanna
My cousin Kody with Kenna, he was so nice to give the girls rides.

Good buddies :)

I love this picture!! My Grandpa's brother and sister and their spouses came to visit from Utah because the cemetery that their parents are buried in is just down the road from where we camp. Well Jackie who is my Grandpa's sister in law loved my baby and she loved on him the whole time she was there and my little Jaxon loved her back it was so sweet. She got him to smile so big :) It was fun getting to see them and getting to know them better.

Jackie and Jaxon

Uncle David with Sammy (they even match how cute is that)

Brother Jesse and his wife Jessica, I love these guys.

My brother giving me what he calls the stink eye, Maddy does this same thing, they are hilarious!

Rodger and Katie, we love these guys too especially Kenna :)

My good ole Grandpa, one of the nicest most laid back people you'll ever meet.

My Grandpa's siblings all still alive.
Jackie, Kay, my Grandma, Grandpa, Nadine, and Ray

My Dad with his parents and some siblings.

Good to know that someone was able to get away for the long weekend.
I have been thinking about putting together a 4-6 week photography class, do you think there is any need? Would anyone you know be interested?

Gotta love camping in the rain. It looks like we did just about the same thing as you guys did! Enjoyed the outside when it wasn't raining and movies when it was!

Looks like you had a lot of fun! I had to laugh as I read your blog, I grew up living in the same ward as Kay and Jackie! I haven't seen them in years so it was so funny to see them on your blog! Small world!
