My little guy hates being messy!! He hates anything on his clothes or face or fingers etc. He is always so clean and I love him that way because I have always really hated it when kids are messy and their Mommies look at their messy face, nose or clothes and wont do anything about it. I always think “Really do you like to have boogers hanging out your nose like that, no usually an adult will blow their nose so why can’t they take care of their child’s nose?” Okay anyway enough of the venting. So I have always been a clean freak about my kids and I guess over time they just learn to be that same way. Josh says Jaxon is OCD..maybe he is. Well he ate his first popsicle and he loved it and it made his face so messy!! I could tell it was driving him crazy, he wanted his face wiped off so bad, but he loved that popsicle even more so he just kept eating it. He was so fun to watch!!

Fudge Popsicle
Tender Mercies
We had a rough couple of weeks at our house. It seemed as though everything bad that could have happened was happening and I just felt us slowly sinking and I really felt like it was getting out of control. You know what they say about when it rains it pours..well it was pouring that’s for sure. Josh has been working out of town on all of his days off from the site so it has really been hard for me to keep up. It’s amazing how just having an extra set of hands a couple nights really helps out, I have sure missed having him home. It is very lonely in the evenings when I spend them all alone after the kids are in bed. I often wonder if he misses sleeping in his own bed. Josh leaves to the grocery store before he goes out of town to get food for him and his workers and on this one night he left later in the evening when I had already gone to bed, I had been really sick with pneumonia and my body was exhausted. When I woke up I saw these beautiful flowers on the table, he had picked them up for me at the store. What a tender mercy it was when I had been having such a rough time, I was sure thankful for these flowers!!![]()

Kenna and Jaxon’s Snow Day
Maddy, Kynzee and Kenna got to play in the snow a day earlier and we felt bad that Jaxon was napping and didn’t get to. Josh was home from work for a day and decided to take Kenna and Jaxon outside to play. They had so much fun together!! It was a very cold day so I didn’t think they would last very long outside, but they did. Kenna was so brave and rode the snowmachine and Jaxon was even braver and let her pull him :) There were a couple times that I couldn’t even see him because he had fallen down into the sled, but he loved it. Kenna even gave Josh a ride in the sled, she was a good little driver. This little pink snowmachine has been one of the funnest things we have ever bought the kids, they have all loved it!! The driveway needed plowed really bad since Josh had been out of town when the snow hit, so he loaded the kids on the four wheeler and they plowed the driveway. Jaxon loves the four wheeler, he could ride on there for hours. Kenna wanted to build a snowman and it was perfect snowman making snow, so Josh helped them roll the balls of snow and stack them. I don’t think these two little people will ever forget there fun day in the snow with their Daddy. ![]()

President’s Day!!
We finally got some snow that stayed for more than a day so the kids could go out and play in it. I have a hard time letting my kids outside when it’s so cold because of my two girls with asthma so they don’t get to go outside very often. But today they were out of school and they begged me to go out, so I gave in. I will probably pay for it tonight when Kynz or Kenna start coughing like crazy, but for now it was fun for them. Josh has been working out of town on his days off from his normal job so he is very rarely home but this morning before he left again he got the snowmobile out for the girls, he must have known they would want to play with it, how nice of him. They woke up and it was sitting outside on the porch and they were so excited. So they cleaned their rooms and playroom and they got to go outside and play and play and play. They had so much fun!! The girls can all drive the snowmobile now so it can be quite the fight in the backyard at times when they think that someone has taken a longer turn than they were suppose to, but for the most part they play really well together. Jaxon was taking a nap so he missed out on the fun because he would have loved the snow. Maybe next time if our snow stays a little longer. The girls came in frozen and wanted hot chocolate and they warmed right up!! What a fun day off of school they had.
We couldn’t find a glove that would fit over Maddy’s cast, we finally found this big huge one of her Dads!!
