We got all dressed up in our Halloween costumes and went to the Iona square to do trunk or treating, it was actually a pretty warm day so it was nice that the kids didn’t have to wear coats, the kids got lots of yummy treats. We went and visited Grandparents houses and then went to my brothers house, it was a simple night but the kids had fun. Maddy had a sick stomach so we made the night short and sweet yet memorable.
We saw this cool car driving down the road and had to snap a picture!
We took the kids to Boo at the Zoo for the first time and they had a blast!! The zoo has all kinds of fun activities for them and they have different booths with candy for them. This was really fun and I think we will have to do it for the next years Halloween. Jaxon saw the star wars guy(I don’t know his name) but he thought that was the coolest thing ever! Raegan loved all the lights and was very entertained..lots of fun at Boo at the zoo!
We carved pumpkins with the kids and I got smart this year and had pumpkin carving in the garage it was so nice to not have the mess in my house. The kids love to carve pumpkins so we do it every year. My Mom grows pumpkins in her garden and gives us some and the kids love it. They are getting older and can carve them with very little help from us which is so nice. I love watching the creations they come up with. Halloween is such a fun time of year!
