"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Kynzee's Preschool Graduation

We had Preschool Graduation tonight for Kynzee and it was so much fun to see my little Kynzee so excited to show me what she learned this year. She had to memorize a part and her part was...

P is for preschool
its been monstrously fun,
and after this program
it will be all done!

She did such a good job I was so proud of her. This is my third year of going to preschool graduations with Mrs. Long and she always does a wonderful job. It is fun to look back on my blog from the graduations before and the cute parts that the girls had. This year they did the hokie pokie and it was so fun, Kynzee really got into it!!! The theme was monsters and it turned out really fun.

Ralphie the camel visits the schools

It was Kynzee's last day of school at Little Chick Preschool and it was a sad day for Mom! Now she will be in Kindergarten and I just cannot believe she can be that old already. Kynzee loved Preschool and Mrs. Long was such a nice teacher it was a wonderful year.

The girls were lucky to have Grandpa Willy bring his camel Ralphie to school. The kids loved him!! They all got to sit on the camel and you should have seen the smiles on their faces, they loved it!! It was an exciting day that's for sure, everyone in Iona was watching as Josh pulled Ralphie behind the 4-wheeler from the Preschool to the Elementary School, it's not every day you see a camel running down the streets. And the camel even drank a pop for the preschool it was pretty funny to watch.

Playing at the park with Kenna and Jaxon

Maddy and Kynzee were both at school so I decided to take Kenna and Jaxon to the park. I walked and pushed the stroller and Kenna rode her bike behind me and she peddled so hard and kept up with me the whole time. Jaxon loves the stroller and he was such a good baby. It was a gorgeous day and I was sure glad we spent it doing something fun, because now today is rainy! I love these little friends of mine. Isn't it nice to know that as a Mommy you will always have a friend when you have children because they love you unconditionally. I am feeling so grateful today for being able to have the energy to get out and have fun with my kids this summer. I have felt the best I have ever felt since I had Jaxon, usually it takes me forever to recover from having a baby and this one was so different, I love it!!! Good health is a great blessing.

Beautiful Sunday

I love Sundays I think they are just wonderful, relaxing, beautiful days. This Sunday was Stake Conference and it was wonderful, first of all I got to go at 10:00 instead of 9:00 which always makes me happy :) I was so glad that Josh was home to be able to go with me and help me with the kids so we could try to listen to at least part of it. I also got to go to the adult session Saturday night and it was absolutely wonderful, I always feel so uplifted after going to those. Sunday afternoon we went for a walk with my sister Katie and her husband Rodger it was a beautiful day for a walk and the kids loved it. Then I went over to my parents house to visit. My Mom had a meeting but my Dad was home and he showed the girls... the neighbors new baby colt, he is adorable! We had a beautiful day!

Kynzee's Preschool day at the park

Kynzee had her fun day at the park for Preschool last week! It was nice that we got to bring the other kids because all of my kids had a blast! They have been so ready for nice weather and to be able to go play at the park was just what they needed. They got their faces painted, played ring toss, went fishing in the fish pond, had an egg race, and ate lunch, it was a very fun, beautiful day at the park.
