"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

The Zoo....Need I say more? My kids love the zoo and we could spend a whole day there looking at the animals. The girls had so much fun, they didn't want to leave. It was a wonderful day and all the animals were out, lots and lots of fun!!!!

Happy Birthday Makenna

My baby girl Makenna Kay turned 2 this week!! I still cannot believe how fast those two years have gone by. I hate how I cannot go back in time and ever re live these moments again! It seems like just yesterday I brought this sweet baby into the world. She has brought so much happiness into our lives, she always keeps us going. We had a fun birthday party for her with her family and lots of cousins, it was a great day! We love you Kenna :) I wrote a post about Kenna last year on her birthday and you can go here
http://willyfam5.blogspot.com/2008/04/reflecting-back-on-day-makenna-was-born.html?zx=788e7c581baa29d to read it and see pictures!!!!

O yes and Lynn...Maddy does have huge crack on her head and if you look close Kenna has a black eye as well. Maddy had a pillow case on her head and ran into the wall...can I say....very hard!!!! And Kenna...well she was reaching for peeps in the Hotel room and came down on the handle of the nightstand drawer and hit her eye. They both look like I have beat them but I haven't!!

Easter Fun!!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend this year with lots of fun things to do. My cousin is leaving on a mission this week so his farewell was Sunday in Provo, we decided to make a weekend out of it and go see him before he left. It turned out to be one of the funnest weekends!!! It was a very fast weekend with trying to fit in all that we wanted to do, but the girls had lots of fun!!

Easter Egg Hunt before we left

This was the Easter Bunny in our town!!!!!! No Bunny!!!! And the girls were so upset. They had dance pictures this day so I figured while they were already all dressed up cute I would take them to get a picture with the Bunny. So on our way out of town we found an Easter Bunny and I am so glad we did, the girls loved him and they were all smiles all the way to Utah because they got to see the Bunny!!!

My cousin Monika came to see us in the Hotel and the girls just think she is the best!

I filled Easter baskets in my parents Hotel room, so the girls thought the Easter bunny was confused at where they were sleeping!! I love being the Bunny :)

Grandma and Kenna

My cousin and his brothers before his farewell, he did such a good job on his talk and really made us all remember what Easter is all about. We are so lucky to have a Savior who died for us so that we can live again. This was a very wonderful way to spend Easter Day!

The girls in their Easter dresses

Papa and Kenna

Fun swimming at the Hotel, we had the pool all to ourselves and it was great!!

Busy Busy Kenna :) :)

This little one keeps me going all day long!!! She will be two in less than a week and I can already see it in her...she is so busy!!! I asked her to go get her shoes on the other day and this is what I came out to...her sisters big boots were on her feet!!! She went and got shoes on just like I asked her to, they just weren't hers. She was so proud that I had to take some pictures.

This has been a nightly occurrence I just don't ever get a picture so I made sure this time to get one. Notice what is in her hand and that the pillow is covering her up :) Well you might just get a surprise when you lift that pillow up :) She will not keep her jammies or diaper on anymore, it is terrible!!

Then when I saw this the color lines looked to perfect to be from Kenna, so I asked the girls, they both told me they didn't do this to sweet Kenna. So I took Kenna upstairs and showed her in the mirror what had happened to her face and she said "No No Mae Mae" (which is what she calls Maddy) So I knew immediately who was the culprit. Maddy said that Kenna stole her marker so she was mad and drew on her. I don't know what I am going to do with these kids some days. I guess things like this make life interesting that's for sure.
