"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

Carving Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins Sunday night and it was so much fun. Daddy traced a pattern on Maddy and Kynzee's pumpkins and they carved them all by themselves and even cleaned the seeds out all by themselves. It was great!!! I helped Kenna with her and baby Jaxon's tiny pumpkins and Kenna was absolutely in love with them when we got done :) You can tell she already loves her baby "Jackin Boy"! Daddy decided to carve a Christmas tree (funny I know) I had to take a picture of it. He didn't want me to show anyone....well...isn't that what a blog is for :) We had so much fun together I am glad we made the time to carve them :) Fun Fun Halloween memories together!

Weekend in Bear Lake

We made a last minute trip to Bear Lake last weekend and it was actually a lot of fun. I had planned to stand in line hours early at our swine flu shot clinic so I could get my kids vaccinated. I have been very worried about them getting it and I felt it was important to get them the shot. Well I have a torn placenta and have had blood clots in my legs and I am suppose to be staying down, so I was worried about standing in line for that long with three kids. Josh was working in Bear Lake for the week and he had called and said they were having a clinic and I could bring the kids there and it wouldn't be as crowded and he could help me with the kids. So I thought about it and decided driving for 3 hours with a DVD player would be better than standing in line for three hours and then we could stay with Josh for the night. So that's what I did!! I packed up and drove and the kids were so good for me. And when we got there I didn't even have to stand in a line, and I got a shot for everyone even Josh!! I was so happy, it was a great weekend!! I also got to see the project Josh has been working on every week down there, and let's just say I was a bit surprised at how big these buildings were and how much he has left to do. I was hoping he would be done soon but it looks like there is quite a lot left to do. Here are some pictures I took of the weekend!

Our Baby's Blue Airplane Bedroom

My wonderful Dad has been coming over to help me get the baby's room ready and it is finally almost complete!! I have a few pictures and things to hang on the walls, but for the most part it is done. I have been stocking up on all the essentials for a baby boy and it has actually been a lot of fun. I have always thought that boy clothes and blankets were pretty boring but if you look hard enough you can find some fun things for boys, I am just very picky on what I will dress my baby boy in :) O yes... and after much thought and a horrible week with a family member about my baby's name, we have decided to name him Jaxon Makoy Williams!! Unless he comes out looking like a completely different name we'll change it. Kenna has called him "Jackin Boy" since we told her there was a baby in my belly and Josh and I have both always liked the name Jaxon since we found out we were expecting with Maddy. I made a list of baby names when we were expecting Maddy and the girl name list has gotten shorter after each girl but my boy list has stayed the same, it is fun to be able to choose a name from the boy list now. Kenna can't say Jaxon so it comes out "Jackin" it is so cute. It was really hard for me to get use to the boy idea but it is now sinking in and I am liking it. We can't wait to get him here and see what he looks like, the last month is always filled with so much anticipation. I am just hoping and praying that things go well and that we will both come home healthy.

Hunting with Daddy

I have neglected my blog lately and I had a few minutes today I thought I would get updated.

We have very few days when our Daddy is home, he has been working out of town. So we had one day that he was going to be home for THE WHOLE DAY. We planned quite a bit in that one day and it turned out to be lots of fun. Daddy wanted to go hunting so we loaded up and took the whole family hunting. Let's just say we didn't see anything but we had fun. Notice all the girls have some sort of pink gun with them and Daddy even has a pink gun in his side pocket that he was carrying for Kenna. O boy this was an adventure!! A day the girls will never forget I love days like that.

Fun Day at the Pumpkin Patch

We missed Kynzee's Preschool field trip to the pumpkin patch this year so I decided to wait until a day that Daddy could go with us and I would have some help with the kids. So I think we picked the warmest, best day to go, it was a gorgeous day and the kids had so much fun. Grandma grows us pumpkins every year so we already had a pumpkin for each of the girls so while we were at the pumpkin patch we picked one out for Daddy, Mommy, and a tiny one for our new baby brother. We had a wonderful day!!

Cute little girls

We have found a fun new game that the girls love to play with their Daddy. It's a rhyming game with cards and the girls can sit and play this for hours they love it and they are getting really good at finding words that rhyme. This was just a fun day they had playing with each other.
