"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride." Gordon B. Hinckley

My Tiny Ballerina

My little Kenna loves to dance!!! She is so cute and so little dancing I just love to watch her. Whenever there is music on in the house or on TV this little angel is always twirling or singing. Kenna is a very active free spirit and gets herself into all kinds of mischief especially since her brother has come to our home. If it is quiet even for a second I have to go looking for Kenna because chances are she is into something she shouldn't be in to. Kenna loves everyone and has to make sure she kisses everyone goodnight before she takes a nap or goes to bed at night. She absolutely loves her baby brother and cannot get enough of him. She is my biggest helper and will run and get me anything I need if I am in a bind. Either me or Daddy has to lay by Kenna's bed every night and rub her back to get her to sleep and usually in the middle of the night she has found her way to our bed and is snuggled up to us. Kenna loves treats, suckers, gum and juice and asks for them every hour of the day. That doesn't mean she gets them every hour but she does ask for them!! Kenna loves her baby dolls and playing dress up. She is my little shadow and follows me around everywhere I go. Kenna is a true two year old, there is no doubt about it, she keeps me running all day, who needs exercise when there is a two year old in the house?? I sure do love my sweet Kenna Bug!!!

You are so loved Jaxon Boy

I cannot tell you how much this sweet baby is loved! His sisters squeeze on him every chance they get. They pick him up and move him, I will think I laid him down in one place and go to get him and he has been moved. He is lucky he doesn't have big red marks on his cheeks from me kissing him so much!! He is so spoiled we hold him most of the day, when Daddy is home he gets to take his naps on his chest, that is his very favorite spot. We love him and even though life is busy and out of control it is worth every minute of chaos. Who ever said life had to be run on a schedule and that I had to be dressed and ready for the day before noon?? Because it isn't going to happen. Holding babies and reading to little girls is much more fun.

The Nutcracker Ballet

I am so late at posting these pictures, but since I am making my blog into a book I didn't want to forget them. The night before I had Jaxon my girls and my niece Jani had a ballet performance in the nutcracker. My girls have been taking dance from my sister in law Janell but this year we decided to give them a little extra and put them in a separate ballet class. So every Monday I had been taking them across town to ballet. They absolutely loved it!!! They especially loved having their cousin dance with them, it was fun for all of us. It took me almost thirty minutes to get them there and just the drive there and back was so much fun to get to know my little niece a little better and listen to all the girls giggle in the back seat of the car. I was looking forward to watching them perform so much. Well when it came right down to the day my Dr. wanted to do the c-section three days before they were performing, I was so upset. I was bound and determined to be there even if it meant getting out of the hospital the day of the nutcracker. Well thanks to my Dr. he decided to let me wait a few more days and do my c-section on the Saturday morning after the performance. I was scared to wait any longer in fear that my old incision would rupture, but it didn't, and I made it to their special night. They kept asking me if I was going to be there and I told them yes I would be there so I knew I had to make it work. I was so glad, it was a perfect week I spent with the girls at rehearsals and then the night of the nutcracker!!! It is always emotional going in to have a baby and leaving your little ones at home so I was glad I got to spend so much time with them before I had the baby. And it was such a busy week it was nice to have my mind on something else besides being scared to death to have another c-section!! They wont let you take pictures during the show so these are the only ones I got, the girls did so good and they were so cute on stage. They were mice and then princesses, so fun to watch. I just love those girls so much.

Jaxon's Blessing Day

It seems like it takes forever to get babies here and then when they get here they grow so fast, it just doesn't seem very fair.

We blessed our sweet baby Jaxon on Sunday the 17th, it was a special day for a special baby.

I have had a really bad infection in my incision and was put on antibiotics to get rid of it. I am nursing Jaxon, so the poor little guy has been getting the antibiotic as well and lets just say it is a nasty one. It made me sick and him sick and it just so happened to fall on his blessing day. He was very fussy most of the day and spit up all over everyone, I think I changed him at least 5 times that day!! But we survived and it turned out to be a nice day.

I have always been big on dressing my babies in pure white on their blessing day because I feel like it is such a special day and they are so clean and pure I love them in all white. There are only three special days in our lives that we wear white..our blessing day, baptism day, and sealing day. My girls wore white to celebrate that special day with him. Every time I have a baby I have a picture taken of all my little angels in white and those pictures are some of my most treasured possessions in my home. I had two blessing outfits for Jaxon my Grandma Fullmer made him one, a special knitted one that she makes for all the grandsons. He looked so handsome in both of them! We had everyone over for cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate and it was so fun to share my baby boys special day with everyone. I didn't get pictures of everyone who was there with us but here are some of the pictures from his special day.

Playing in the snow

We have had a few fun snowy days and the girls have really enjoyed it!! They got a new sled for Christmas and Josh has had fun pulling them behind the 4-wheeler. Baby Jaxon even got to go for a ride all zipped up in Daddy's coat to go to the neighbors house for a minute. The girls love the snow and play in it for hours. Kynzee has learned how to ride the snowmobile and we are hoping that she wont have another broken nose like we had last summer with the motorbike.
